Meet Jennifer McDonnell
My Insurance career started back in 2005 when I decided to stay in Michigan and not go back to the Washington DC rat race in computers and engineering.
Immediately I found insurance people were mostly sales people (not my cup of tea) but soon realized clients wanted someone like me, someone who cares and serves them well, so I decided to go independent and did exactly that.
Early on I got very involved in the Insurance industry and started writing monthly articles for senior benefits for the local insurance newsletter, eventually became the president of the local chapter of NAHU. Focused on expanding my knowledge and expertise to help my clients prepare for retirement.
Through the years I've watched my young clients get older, my Medicare clients move into their 70's, 80's and 90's, and some into their 100's and I stayed right there with them, their families, their children, their grandchildren, helping keep all their insurance in check. Helping generations is what makes being an insurance advisor mentally rewarding.
